The London Eye is super slow going at a rate of 10 inches per second. So it isn’t scary fast and you have plenty of time to observe the London skyline and spot landmarks.

NB Once you get into a capsule, there is no getting off until the wheel has turned a complete rotation which takes half an hour. So sit down with the other 25 people on board your capsule and get comfortable.
